Description

You will perform manual testing across various levels to ensure software quality and adherence to client expectations.

You will execute functional testing including acceptance, regression, smoke, and sanity tests, as well as basic non-functional testing for usability and security. Perform feature, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing throughout the software development process. Create and maintain test documentation such as test cases and checklists. Analyze test results, create bug reports, and track defects to closure. Monitor production environments and communicate with the development team to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, methods, and test design techniques.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL (SELECT, UPDATE, JOINs) and at least one RDBMS.
• Experience with XML, JSON, and Web Services/REST.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman.
• Experience using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of network protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SMTP.
• Intermediate or fluent English language skills.

Preferred Skills

• Basic Linux command line knowledge.
