Description

You will lead projects for the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities, supporting the Electronic Health Record Program Management Office.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project work products following PMI PMBOK and State PM Methodology.
• Manage integrated program-level and individual project plans, including status, scope changes, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee projects with multiple deliverables through task delegation and team coordination.
• Control scope, resources, timelines, costs, quality, and procurement to meet state goals.
• Develop program-level status reports, briefings, policies, and training on project management methods.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience, specifically with small to medium automation implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementations and health information technology.
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
• Experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and MS Office.
• Business Analysis experience.
• Experience deploying new applications or information systems.
• Vendor management experience.
• Strong supervision, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• State Government experience.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing or supervising legacy healthcare system replacement projects.
