Description

You will support the Electronic Health Record Program Management Office by leading projects and managing work efforts of simple to medium complexity.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project work products following PMI PMBOK and DHHS & State PM methodologies.
• Manage integrated program-level and individual project plans, including execution, status reporting, and scope changes.
• Oversee projects with multiple deliverables by delegating and coordinating tasks across project teams.
• Track and mitigate risks, issues, and budget constraints to meet state goals.
• Facilitate project governance, reporting, and the development of program-level briefings and procedures.

Required Skills

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) system implementations.
• Background in Health Information Technology (Health IT).
• Proven track record of delivering IT projects within budget, scope, and schedule.
• Experience managing small to medium complexity automation implementation efforts and vendor management.
• Hands-on experience managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
• Experience deploying new applications or information systems.
• Business Analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and MS Office.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• State Government experience.
• Experience managing legacy healthcare system replacement projects.
