Description

You will build and deploy modular Python code within cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write fully-typed Python code using type annotations on all function signatures.
• Develop and execute unit, system, and integration test suites to ensure code quality.
• Deploy features into production and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
• Implement production-grade logging, exception handling, and detailed developer documentation.
• Write modular, loosely coupled code using abstract base classes, protocols, and type definitions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and functional programming principles.
• Experience with SQL, database principles, and SQL query builders or ORMs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficiency with Git, including feature branch and PR workflows.
• Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of modern Python packaging using pyproject.toml.
• Ability to use linters, type checkers, and autoformatters.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML API patterns and underlying algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing libraries and using notebooks strictly for prototyping and PoCs.
