Description

You will develop and maintain production-grade Python applications in cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write fully-typed Python using type annotations, abstract base classes, and protocols.
• Build modular, loosely coupled code using modern packaging standards like pyproject.toml.
• Develop and execute unit, system, and integration test suites to ensure code quality.
• Deploy features into production and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
• Maintain detailed developer documentation, including docstrings and comments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proficiency in writing pure functions and managing object immutability.
• Experience with SQL, database principles, and ORM/query builders.
• Competency with Git, feature branches, and pull request workflows.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Ability to use linters, type checkers, and autoformatters.
• Experience implementing production-grade logging and exception handling.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of AI/ML API patterns and underlying algorithms.
