Description

Junior QA Automation Tester responsible for building and maintaining test automation frameworks, executing test cases, and ensuring product quality across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Write and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications to validate functionality and quality.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts for user interfaces and APIs using Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
  • Identify, document, and track software bugs with clear debugging details and reproduction steps.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand feature requirements and identify potential edge cases.
  • Contribute to regression automation initiatives to reduce manual testing efforts and improve efficiency.

Required Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including internships, with hands-on automation exposure.
  • Proficiency in Java or Python for test script development.
  • Experience with Selenium for web automation and Appium for mobile automation.
  • Knowledge of API testing and Postman.
  • Ability to write and manage test cases and track bugs effectively.
  • Understanding of manual testing principles and bug tracking workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Playwright for modern web automation.
  • Experience with IoT-enabled applications or mobile application testing.
  • Ability to read backend code and understand backend flows for effective debugging.
