Description

You will execute the test lifecycle for custom applications and GIS components using standard methodologies to ensure successful test strategy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, scenarios, and test cases while executing tests and analyzing results.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor technical teams to understand requirements and support UAT development.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, demos, and weekly status reporting.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including regression, performance, load, security, and business continuity testing.
• Identify missing test coverage and modify existing cases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development project testing.
• Experience with mid-scale or large-scale system development projects involving test automation and test strategy.
• Proficiency with GitHub, ServiceNow, TFS, and JIRA.
• Ability to review and analyze system specifications, including System Requirements, Business Requirements, and Design Documents.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC concepts, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience documenting Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and test results.
• Proven ability to prepare sample data for testing and perform issue isolation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile device testing.
• Public sector experience.
• ISTQB, CSTE, or CAST certifications.
