Description

You will execute testing for custom applications and GIS components within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, scenarios, and test cases to ensure accurate test coverage.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report anomalies from a business end-user perspective.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor technical teams to understand requirements and assist with UAT scenario development.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, demos, and weekly status reporting to the QA Lead.
• Manage Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and identify bottlenecks or risks to project timelines.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development project testing.
• Experience with mid-scale or large-scale system development projects.
• Proficiency in STLC concepts and SDLC methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, TFS, GitHub, and ServiceNow.
• Ability to perform system, regression, performance, load, security, and business continuity testing.
• Skill in reviewing system specifications, business requirements, and design documents.
• Experience preparing sample data for testing and documenting test results.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a similar field.

Preferred Skills

• Mobile device testing experience.
• Experience in the public sector.
• ISTQB, CSTE, or CAST certifications.
