Description

Execute testing for custom applications and GIS components within an Agile environment, ensuring accurate coverage and timely delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, scenarios, and cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report anomalies from an end-user perspective.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams to validate requirements and assist in UAT scenario development.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and provide weekly status reports to the QA Testing Lead.
• Identify bottlenecks and risks to ensure software testing is completed on schedule.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in software development testing projects.
• Hands-on experience with test automation and developing test scripts.
• Proficiency with GitHub, ServiceNow, TFS, and JIRA.
• Experience with system testing, regression, security, performance, load, and business continuity testing.
• Ability to document Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and prepare sample test data.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, issue isolation, and analyzing system specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of STLC concepts, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Mobile device testing experience.
• ISTQB, CSTE, or CAST certifications.
• Public sector experience.
