Description

Execute the full test lifecycle for custom applications and GIS components within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and document test plans, scenarios, test cases, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report anomalies from a business end-user perspective.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, demos, and weekly status reporting to the QA Lead.
• Collaborate with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams to validate requirements and prepare applications for UAT.
• Identify coverage gaps and modify test cases to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in software development project testing.
• Experience with mid-scale or large-scale system development, including test automation and test strategy.
• Proficiency with GitHub, ServiceNow, TFS, and JIRA.
• Strong understanding of STLC concepts, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to review and analyze system specifications, including business and design documents.
• Experience in system, regression, performance, load, security, and business continuity testing.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and issue isolation.

Preferred Skills

• Mobile device testing experience.
• Public sector experience.
• ISTQB, CSTE, or CAST certifications.
