Description

Develop analytics and prototypes using Java and Python within a Linux environment to process SIGINT data. Own the full software engineering lifecycle, from requirements analysis to integration and testing.

Responsibilities

• Build analytics and metrics using Java, Python, and Pig/MapReduce.
• Research and implement solutions on AWS and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Collaborate with customers to develop data tagging and analytical solutions.
• Develop RESTful services and manage source code versioning.
• Support problem diagnosis and integration testing for distributed systems.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Python development.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem: Hive, Pig, and HDFS.
• Familiarity with MapReduce and distributed scalable NoSQL stores (HBase, Accumulo, or Big Table).
• Experience with AWS platform services.
• Understanding of serialization formats like JSON or BSON.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with no experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.
