Description

You will support the design, development, and implementation of information systems and networks in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement information systems, networks, and security principles.
• Conduct research into system issues and new product implementations.
• Manage information systems planning and software management best practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities and configure systems to improve endpoint security posture.
• Apply data privacy practices and laws to system management.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of systems engineering experience.
• Mastery of M365 environments, including Exchange Online and Mimecast email security/spam filtering.
• Entry-level experience with Azure Cloud Computing and VMWare.
• Proficiency with Veeam.
• Experience with device management tools including Intune, AutoPilot, and SCCM.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure or M365 Administrator Associate certification (or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

• Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly language.
