Description

You will provide network engineering and support for Operations Technology (OT) systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, and data historians.

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and build OT network solutions in adherence with NERC/CIP standards.
  • Configure firewalls and rule sets using Juniper equipment or equivalent.
  • Operate and administer OSIsoft Plant Information systems and historians.
  • Perform protocol analysis using network analyzers and manage industrial firewalls and managed switches.
  • Execute disaster recovery planning and implementation, including Bare Metal and RAID.

Required Skills

  • 6-10 years of experience in routing, switching, storage environments, and firewall administration.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP network architecture.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with unshielded twisted pair and fiber optic cable technologies.
  • Knowledge of offline Microsoft OS patch management.
  • Experience with RS232 communication protocols.
  • Ability to provide on-call support for 24-hour utility operations.
  • Travel to various sites to survey, troubleshoot, and integrate network solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • 3+ years of JUNOS experience or Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS-SEC, JNCIS-ENT).
  • 3+ years of OSI PI Historian experience.
  • 3+ years of NERC/CIP compliance experience with a focus on documentation and audit-ability.
