You will lead platform support for Kafka environments, ensuring stability across production and staging systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain platform performance in production and staging environments.
• Manage Kafka infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Kafka clusters.
• Document operational procedures and incident responses.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Deep understanding of Kafka architecture, brokers, topics, and partitions.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale Kafka deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production issues.
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently in an on-site setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with related stream processing technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based Kafka services.
