Description

You will manage and maintain Kafka infrastructure and messaging platforms. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Kafka clusters, sizing brokers and ZooKeeper hardware.
• Configure topic partitions based on specific application and performance requirements.
• Manage Kafka components including KConnect, Schema Registry, KSQL, REST Proxy, and Mirror Maker.
• Support messaging technology platforms including IBMMQ and Kafka.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in messaging technology environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka cluster design and builds.
• Proficiency with ZooKeeper.
• Proficiency with Python, Ruby, or Bash scripting.
• Working knowledge of IBMMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
