Description

You will manage and maintain Apache Kafka middleware environments within a Linux-based infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, and build Kafka environments from scratch, including Brokers, Zookeeper, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and KSQL.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for system administration and operational tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
• Support application deployments and ensure the stability of end-to-end middleware environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in system and middleware administration.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka components: Broker, Zookeeper, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and KSQL.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Ability to perform installation, configuration, and patching of complex middleware stacks.
• Understanding of end-to-end deployment lifecycles for distributed systems.
