You will manage and maintain Kafka-based data pipelines, ensuring cluster availability, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters for performance and security.
• Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues and provide 3rd level administrator support.
• Create and manage Kafka topics, producers, and consumers using Python.
• Develop and maintain automation for Kafka infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of hands-on experience as a Kafka Admin.
• Expertise with Apache Kafka administration and operations.
• Proficiency in Python for building Kafka producers and consumers.
• Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Storm.
• Ability to handle customer queries and ensure support coverage during business hours and rotational guard periods.
