Description

You will manage and maintain Kafka clusters to ensure availability, performance, and security across multiple environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kafka clusters across development, testing, and production environments.
• Configure Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, and access control policies.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Implement and manage Kafka connectors to ensure seamless data flow.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, and Data teams to optimize infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Kafka Administrator in a production environment.
• Deep understanding of Kafka architecture, including brokers, ZooKeeper, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Streams.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka security protocols including SSL, SASL, and ACLs.
• Proficiency with Kafka management tools like Kafka Manager and Confluent Control Center.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking.

Preferred Skills

• B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MS/MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
