Description

Manage and operate Confluent Kafka environments deployed on Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run Kafka brokers, Zookeepers, KSQL, KStream, and Kafka Control Center.
• Configure Kafka connectors including JDBC, S3, File stream, and Redshift sink.
• Manage topic creation with specific partitions and implement data ingestion to RDBMS, AWS Redshift, and S3.
• Build and maintain end-to-end Kafka ETL pipelines.
• Implement error handling and log writing processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Kafka administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka brokers and Zookeepers.
• Proficiency with KSQL and KStream.
• Experience managing Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Working knowledge of Avro and JSON converters using Schema Registry.
• Experience with RDBMS and AWS Redshift.
• Ability to manage data ingestion via S3 and JDBC connectors.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
