Description

You will own the administration and management of Kafka clusters.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kafka cluster operations, including partition management and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain Kafka Connect, ZooKeeper, and Schema Registry configurations.
• Monitor cluster health and performance using established observability tools.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot Kafka performance issues and resolve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka administration and cluster management.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Kafka Connect, ZooKeeper, and Schema Registry.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Ansible.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting Kafka performance issues.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
