Description

You will manage and maintain multi-region Confluent Kafka clusters and associated infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters and infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Configure and manage Kafka topics, partitions, and replication using Kraft.
• Automate deployment and management of multi-region clusters using configuration management tools.
• Monitor cluster performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans, including Kafka mirroring and failover.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Kafka administration.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent.
• Experience managing multi-region Kafka clusters and replication.
• Knowledge of Kafka mirroring and failover implementation.
• Proficiency in configuring Kafka security and authentication protocols.
• Ability to document infrastructure configurations and procedures.
• Experience integrating Kafka with other data stores and messaging systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with configuration management tools for automation.
