Description

You will develop and maintain the corporate messaging infrastructure, ensuring message delivery, security, retention, and recoverability of all topics and messages.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy quality messaging and streaming solutions aligned with architecture standards.
• Administer enterprise-wide messaging architecture and implement event sourcing strategies.
• Manage large-scale multi-node Kafka cluster environments on AWS and on-prem OpenShift.
• Perform high-level, day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for the Kafka Cluster.
• Proactively monitor and set up alerting mechanisms for the Kafka Cluster and supporting hardware.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Kafka administration and ecosystem management.
• Experience managing clusters on AWS.
• Proficiency with OpenShift platform administration.
• Ability to design and implement redundancy clusters and monitoring tools.
• Experience providing technical expertise and guidance to production support.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product managers and lead engineers.
