Description

Provide production support for Kafka clusters and Apigee API management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kafka clusters across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Implement Kafka security using SSL encryption and ACL-based authorization.
• Configure Apigee Private Cloud components including keystores, truststores, and KVMs.
• Apply API security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, throttling, and TLS.
• Integrate Apigee with enterprise systems for monitoring, logging, and SAML or LDAP SSO.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing Kafka clusters on cloud or on-premise platforms.
• Proficiency in Kafka SSL encryption and ACL authorization.
• Expertise in Apigee Private Cloud configuration and Management APIs.
• Experience managing certificates, KeyStores, and TrustStores.
• Knowledge of API security, including OAuth 2.0 and throttling.
• Experience with enterprise system integrations for logging and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apigee X, IBM Datapower, or IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with Splunk and AWS Cloud.
