Description

Design and implement large-scale Kafka clusters and deployment architectures for high availability and stability.

Responsibilities

• Architect integration solutions using Kafka following data streaming best practices.
• Design and implement both Open Source and Cloudera Kafka platforms.
• Perform benchmarking, performance analysis, and tuning of existing solutions.
• Develop custom Kafka producer and consumer applications.
• Ensure optimum performance and stability of Kafka platform solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Kafka Platform Architect.
• Deep understanding of Kafka architecture and large-scale cluster implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Flink.
• Experience with Linux (RedHat) operating systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware virtual machine systems.
• Knowledge of containerized systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
