Description

You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide Kafka architecture, design principles, and best practices.
• Lead the design and deployment of high-throughput, low-latency streaming platforms.
• Architect and manage data pipelines, including producers, consumers, schema registries, and stream processing.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance of Kafka clusters in on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments.
• Partner with application teams to modernize architectures into event-driven, microservices-based solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architecture roles.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka and distributed systems.
• Experience with stream processing frameworks like Flink and Spark.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Hadoop.
• Prior experience migrating from legacy messaging systems (IBM MQ, Tibco).
• Knowledge of cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to establish governance, monitoring, and security models for Kafka clusters.
