Description

You will design and manage large-scale event streaming infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Consult with engineering teams to integrate Kafka into existing data pipelines.
• Architect, build, and support both new and existing Kafka clusters.
• Deploy and manage Kafka infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.
• Maintain system visibility through monitoring and logging tools.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Kafka clustering and administration.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying Kafka clusters using IaC.
• Proficiency with DevOps methodologies and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk.
• Experience with Grafana.
• Experience with Elastic, Kibana, or Splunk for observability.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
