Description

You will design and architect event-driven solutions using Confluent Kafka, leading client engagements from requirements to implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable architectures leveraging Confluent Kafka, KRaft, and Confluent Cloud components.
• Lead client engagements, translating business needs into technical solutions and guiding implementation teams.
• Implement stream processing using Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, or ksqlDB within event-driven systems.
• Integrate Kafka with enterprise databases, APIs, and microservices across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Manage stream governance, data lineage, and RBAC while automating infrastructure via CI/CD and Ansible.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing solutions with Confluent Kafka.
• Deep understanding of Kafka internals, KRaft architecture, and Confluent ecosystem.
• Expertise in stream processing frameworks: Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, or ksqlDB.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools like Ansible and CFK.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluent Stream Governance and Data Lineage features.
• Background in integrating Kafka with complex enterprise systems.
