Description

You will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-throughput data streaming platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-availability Kafka solutions for real-time event processing.
• Define topic structures, data contracts, retention strategies, and throughput scaling.
• Establish security policies including RBAC, encryption, and ACLs.
• Design data pipelines using Kafka Connect, KSQL, and Kafka Streams.
• Own disaster recovery design, cross-DC replication using MirrorMaker2, and HA setup.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in distributed systems and messaging architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Kafka internals, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connectors, KSQL, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry.
• Deep understanding of delivery semantics, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Experience integrating Kafka with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and microservices.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka on Kubernetes, Confluent Platform, or AWS MSK.
