Description

Lead the design and implementation of event-based architectures and data streaming strategies on Confluent Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data streaming platforms for warehouse integration and microservices.
• Lead a technical team by assigning tasks, facilitating reviews, and mentoring members in event-driven architecture.
• Establish Kafka best practices, standards, and integration patterns for specific use cases.
• Triage and resolve platform issues across all components in a hands-on capacity.
• Collaborate with customers to expand Kafka use cases and translate technical requirements for senior leadership.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in modern software development, including systems and application analysis/design.
• 7+ years of combined experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka.
• 2+ years of experience designing, architecting, and deploying to the AWS cloud platform.
• 1+ years of experience leading a technical team.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in application integration, SOA, security, or data modeling.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
