Description

You will architect, design, and implement next-generation data streaming and event-based architecture on Confluent Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize Kafka administrators and developers, assigning tasks and facilitating weekly technical review meetings.
• Define the strategy for streaming data to the data warehouse and integrating event-based architecture with microservice applications.
• Establish Kafka best practices and standards based on identified use cases and integration patterns.
• Mentor team members on event-driven architecture, event modeling, and data integrity.
• Triage, investigate, and advise on platform issues across all components.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of combined experience with Kafka (Confluent Kafka and/or Apache Kafka).
• 2+ years of combined experience designing, architecting, and deploying to AWS cloud platform.
• 12+ years of experience with modern software development, including systems and application analysis and design.
• 1+ years of leading a technical team.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 12 years of relevant experience (or Master's with 10 years).
• Expertise in application integration, enterprise services, SOA, security, BPM, or data ingestion/modeling.
