Description

You will design, develop, and scale distributed streaming platforms and Kafka-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and write code within a test-driven development environment.
• Document, standardize, and automate deployment processes.
• Identify and implement improvements for testing process quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and present technical solutions.
• Develop software following Agile and DevSecOps practices.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience implementing distributed streaming platforms like Confluent or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka Connect framework using HTTP REST proxy, JMS, File, SFTP, JDBC, Splunk, and Salesforce connectors.
• Experience supporting wire-format translations.
• Proficiency in Java and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of Kafka administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Kafka clustering, fault-tolerance models, HA, and DR.
• Experience with Kafka Streams and KSQL architecture, including clustering models and query development.
• Practical experience scaling Kafka, KStreams, and Connector infrastructures.
• Working knowledge of Splunk and its integration with Kafka for operational use.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
