Description

You will design, develop, and implement data streaming solutions using Kafka and related technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data transformations into Kafka topics and streaming processors.
• Create and update technical documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.
• Provide technical input for Kafka Cluster and Apache ZooKeeper design.
• Escalate complex technical issues and suggest new system implementations.
• Assist with system conversions and provide training to other employees.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency with Kafka and Confluent Kafka environments.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and T-SQL.
• Experience with data streaming technologies and data integration.
• Development of web services using SOAP and REST.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and SVN.
• Experience with Test Driven Development using frameworks like Mockito, Cucumber, or RSpec.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience leading teams of developers and Dev-test engineers.
