Description

You will design and maintain Kafka-based event streaming solutions and backend microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect integrations.
• Build REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Manage Kafka topics, schemas, and message flows to ensure reliable producer-consumer communication.
• Create and execute unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and Octopus.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in backend development with strong hands-on Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency in Java development.
• Experience with Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience in REST API development and integrations.
• Knowledge of Kafka topics, schemas, and message management.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito testing frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Octopus.

Preferred Skills

• AWS exposure.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
