Description

You will own the Kafka and Confluent Cloud implementations as the primary technical owner.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters, topics, and streaming pipelines.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable data onboarding across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and integration.
• Oversee daily operations for data onboarding and streaming pipelines, implementing monitoring and alerting.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all Kafka and Confluent-related solutions, providing technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Kafka and Confluent Cloud implementations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and integration.
• Hands-on experience with data onboarding in hybrid environments (on-prem & cloud).
• Experience with ETL tools, including Snowflake, SSIS, ADF, or Fivetran.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and streaming best practices.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot data ingestion and streaming performance issues.
• Experience in Data Analysis.
