Description

Design and develop event streaming applications using Kafka, Java, and Scala.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Kafka Connect connectors for reliable data ingestion and integration workflows.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot to support streaming use cases.
• Implement stream processing logic in Scala, including stateful processing and fault-tolerant behavior.
• Support Kafka cluster operations with Zookeeper, troubleshooting issues and improving reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Kafka-based streaming and integration development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and partitions.
• Experience with Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.
• Knowledge of Zookeeper for cluster coordination and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for supporting tooling or auxiliary services.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployment.
• Experience with AWS and GCP for cloud-based infrastructure.
