Description

You will design, implement, and manage Confluent Kafka architectures and streaming applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Confluent Kafka architecture, design principles, and CI/CD deployment procedures.
• Manage Kafka capacity planning, installation, administration, and platform management.
• Build streaming applications using Kafka producers, consumers, and streams.
• Optimize Kafka clusters, partitions, security, disaster recovery, and data replication.
• Develop end-to-end services and integrate 3rd party Confluent Kafka connectors.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of experience with Kafka and the Confluent platform.
• Deep knowledge of Kafka internals, including cluster management and performance optimization.
• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end design and development of services for Confluent Kafka.
• Strong development experience in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Avro serialization formats.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka versions (v6 preferred, v5 acceptable).
• Proven ability to manage data pipelines and data replication.
• Experience with Kafka administration and platform management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluent Kafka v6.
