Description

You will design and maintain Kafka-based architectures for real-time data streaming and processing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions using Confluent Kafka, integrating Facets with Datahub.
• Develop and maintain secure, scalable Microservices using Spring Boot with well-documented REST APIs.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms for REST APIs using Spring Security (OAuth2/JWT).
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments on AWS and Azure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and microservices using the ELK/EFK stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Confluent Kafka, including Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and KSQL.
• Proven experience implementing CDC solutions, specifically from Facets to Datahub.
• Proficiency in designing Microservices with RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and OpenAPI 3.0.
• Experience with Spring Security (OAuth2/JWT), Spring Data JPA (Hibernate), and Spring Cloud.
• Strong database knowledge, particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with ELK/EFK (Elastic, FluentBit, Kibana) logging and monitoring stacks.

Preferred Skills

• Confluent Kafka certification.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
• Knowledge of Datahub or CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
