Description

You will own platform engineering and middleware administration for Kafka environments, driving assigned projects from inception to resolution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own project lifecycles and drive issues to final resolution.
• Support and enforce security policies across Kafka platforms.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on platform strategy.
• Develop and implement solutions using automation and scripting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of working experience.
• Deep experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Working knowledge of GCP cloud offerings.
• Proficiency in Unix scripting, Terraform, PowerShell, and VBScript.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control.
• Understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
