Description

You will design, implement, and operate streaming platforms based on Confluent Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design streaming platforms using Confluent Kafka or Confluent Cloud.
• Develop and deploy KStreams pipelines and clusters.
• Build and manage Kafka Connect workflows using HTTP REST proxy, JMS, File, SFTP, and JDBC connectors.
• Write and optimize KSQL queries while applying best practices for KSQL vs KStreams usage.
• Manage the interplay between brokers, ZooKeeper, producers, consumers, and Kafka Connect.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the software industry.
• 5+ years of experience architecting and operating Confluent Kafka platforms.
• 5+ years of experience with Confluent Cloud or the Confluent platform.
• Deep understanding of Kafka architecture, including internals, brokers, and ZooKeeper.
• Hands-on production experience with Kafka Streams and KSQL.
• Proficiency in API integrations and messaging systems.
• Experience with SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
