Description

You will build and manage event-driven streaming solutions across the organization. You own the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kafka-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions using Kafka, Kafka Connect, ksqlDB, and Kafka Streams.
• Apply event-driven architecture patterns to ensure data-safe event streaming and integrity.
• Guide development teams on event modeling, pattern selection, and data integrity standards.
• Automate insights and monitoring using Kafka APIs for metadata, metrics, and administration.
• Analyze performance data to maintain system efficiency, resiliency, and technical depth in connectors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Kafka development.
• Hands-on experience with ksqlDB and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with Kafka Connect and custom implementations.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience streaming data from SAP, specifically S4 HANA.
• SAP technical experience.
