Description

You will design and implement real-time data streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka, owning the development of producers, consumers, and stream processing applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven architectures and microservices integration.
• Optimize Kafka cluster performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Ensure data reliability through schema evolution (Avro/Protobuf), partitioning, and replication strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka environments using Prometheus and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency in developing Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing applications.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
• Knowledge of schema evolution using Avro or Protobuf.
• Understanding of partitioning and replication strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluent Control Center.
• Background in building high-throughput data pipelines.
