Description

You will be responsible for engineering solutions around Kafka and stream processing.

Responsibilities

• Own Kafka producer and consumer tuning to optimize throughput and latency.
• Implement the outbox pattern for reliable transactional event emission.
• Manage event replay and data backfill processes across the platform.
• Oversee dead letter queue management and schema evolution.
• Integrate Kafka streams with PostgreSQL transactional writes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as an Apache Kafka Integration Engineer.
• 4+ years operating Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms in production environments.
• Deep expertise in exactly-once semantics and consumer group management.
• Proficiency with partitioning strategies and schema registry implementation.
• Experience with Kafka monitoring and alerting setup.
• Strong working knowledge of Kafka and PostgreSQL.
