Description

You will design, build, and manage multi-environment Kafka Cloud platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage topic architecture and consumer groups with RBAC.
• Implement infrastructure using Terraform and IaC for clusters, topics, and ACLs.
• Configure and maintain connectors, schema registry, and encryption.
• Develop event-driven applications incorporating DLQs and retry patterns.
• Set up and maintain observability using Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expertise in Kafka topic architecture and consumer group management.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience managing VPC peering and secrets management.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns (DLQs, retry).
• Hands-on experience with observability tools: Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk.
• Knowledge of Kafka connectors and schema registry.
