Description

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Kafka infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve administrative Kafka-related issues for Redpanda Self-Hosted/on-prem environments.
• Execute and manage infrastructure changes using Ansible.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Apache Kafka Connect.
• Apply Kerberos authentication to Kafka services.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of Redpanda.
• Fundamental administrative understanding of Kafka and Confluent Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL 8 or higher.
• Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience executing configuration via Ansible.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC practices.
• Experience with Jira for issue tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Logscale for log review.
