Kafka Engineer

You will design, implement, and manage streaming data pipelines using Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Apache Kafka clusters for high availability and performance.
• Implement streaming data solutions with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Administer Kafka environments using Confluent and Cloudera platforms.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues across AWS infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation for architecture and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Apache Kafka.
• Holding Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka (CCAAK) or equivalent certification.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera distribution of Kafka.
• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certification (streaming focus).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data streaming concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote US-based role.
