Description

Architect, implement, and administer the Confluent Cloud Kafka platform in production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage streaming architectures, including capacity planning, partitioning, and scaling.
• Implement platform governance covering schema registry, RBAC, audit logging, and retention policies.
• Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategies across multi-region designs.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for streaming platform automation.
• Gather on-site requirements, create design documents, and coordinate with offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with production streaming platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of KSQL DB and Flink for real-time stream processing.
• Expertise in Kafka Connector configuration and end-to-end cloud integration.
• Deep experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Proficiency with GCP Networking, including Private Service Connect (PSC) and DNS.
• Demonstrated ability in cloud-native monitoring, performance tuning, and incident response.
• Strong background in data governance and schema management.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
