Description

Manage and maintain large-scale, multi-region Confluent Kafka cluster environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, and provide production support for Confluent Platform components and Apache Kafka.
• Manage Event Driven Architecture components including Kafka Brokers and ZooKeeper.
• Automate software tasks using Shell or Python scripting.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and JMX to ensure system health.
• Execute middleware integrations to Kafka and track all issues via Jira or ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in L3 engineering and administration of Confluent Kafka.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka and Kafka Brokers.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-region Kafka cluster environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and JMX.
• Knowledge of ZooKeeper and Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience using Jira and ServiceNow for issue tracking and collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and identify security vulnerabilities.
