Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale, multi-region Confluent Kafka cluster environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, and provide production support for Confluent Platform components and Apache Kafka.
• Maintain Event Driven Architecture components including Kafka Brokers and ZooKeeper.
• Execute middleware integrations with Kafka with minimal disruption.
• Identify root causes, security vulnerabilities, and risks while proposing mitigation options.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of L3 engineering and administrative experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka and Kafka Brokers.
• Experience managing ZooKeeper and large-scale multi-region clusters.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, and JMX.
• Competency with Jira and ServiceNow for issue tracking.
• Ability to document requirements for complex application enhancements.
