Description

You will build and manage scalable, real-time event streaming and data processing applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop event-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot, and reactive programming.
• Implement and optimize Kafka Connectors to integrate with AWS services including EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Design real-time processing pipelines using Kafka Streams and ksqlDB.
• Manage Kafka Schema Registry and optimize cluster performance through partition tuning and consumer lag monitoring.
• Automate deployment of Kafka and EventBridge integrations using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (11/17+), Spring Boot, multithreading, and reactive programming.
• Practical experience with Kafka and integrating AWS services (EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB, RDS).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka security (RBAC, ACLs, SSL/TLS, OAuth) and Schema Registry.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Experience managing AWS services and monitoring via CloudWatch.
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JSON Schema, Protobuf, Kafka Streams, and ksqlDB.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Confluent Control Center, Prometheus, or Datadog.
