Description

You will own the full stack development lifecycle for complex enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Kafka and Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex web applications using Angular and Java, ensuring both front-end and back-end quality.
• Perform Kafka configuration and administration to support high-throughput data streaming and messaging needs.
• Break down customer requirements with the Product Owner and collaborate with Architects to align solutions with project goals.
• Create and maintain data models to ensure data integrity across various enterprise data sources.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to support continuous team improvement and best practice adherence.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of senior-level Java programming experience, including J2EE, Spring, and REST APIs.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka, including configuration and administration.
• Proficiency in Angular for front-end development and JavaScript/Node.js.
• Extensive development experience with AWS services: Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB/Aurora, Redshift, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, CloudWatch, CodeCommit, and CloudFormation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling for complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in continuous integration and delivery using Git, Jenkins, and JIRA within an agile scrum environment.
• Understanding of domain-oriented and event-driven design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing complex integration solutions.
• Background in Elastic Beanstalk and Data Pipeline.
